Ray concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate and real estate lending. Formerly General Counsel to a nationwide trucking company and the head of the real estate section of a large law firm, Ray’s practice currently is focused on representing sellers and purchasers in the acquisition, development and sale of commercial, industrial and residential real estate, and negotiating and drafting leases on behalf of landlords and tenants and negotiating and drafting loan documents for lenders and borrowers in loan transactions secured by real estate. In conjunction therewith, Ray also forms corporations, limited liability companies and limited partnerships. Ray also negotiates and drafts construction contracts on behalf of contractors and owners. He represents a variety of companies, partnerships, individuals and financial institutions.
Ray maintains an “AV” Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating, signifying the highest level of professionalism in terms of legal ability and ethical standards.
Ray is a member of the Real Estate Sections of the Dallas Bar Association and Texas Bar Association and a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, an honorary business fraternity.
